Adventure Bandits: A Jayco Family of Companies Pathfinder Embracing the RV Lifestyle

For Talmange and Ashanti Grace, RVing isn’t just a pastime—it’s a way of life. Their journey into the camping lifestyle started years ago, shaped by Ashanti’s childhood experiences in Alaska and Talmange’s early adventures in tent camping. What began as a love for the outdoors turned into a passion for RVing after one unforgettable, rain-soaked night in a flooded tent. That was the turning point—they decided comfort and convenience were essential, leading them to purchase a RV and begin a new chapter of exploration in their Jayco Seismic Luxury 4113!

Since then, their travels have taken them to breathtaking destinations, introduced them to extraordinary people, and enriched their lives in ways they never imagined. But for them, RVing isn’t just about the places they visit—it’s about living in the moment, embracing freedom, and creating memories to share with future generations.

From Workaholics to Wanderers

Before RVing became a central part of their lives, Talmange and Ashanti followed a routine that many can relate to. Their days revolved around work, and while they took the occasional vacation to different countries, much of their time was spent tending to their home and responsibilities. Weekends were often dedicated to household chores or simply enjoying a peaceful moment on the porch.

But they knew there was more to life than waiting for retirement to start exploring. Instead of putting off their dreams, they chose to embrace adventure now, ensuring they could experience the joys of RVing while still active and able. This shift in lifestyle allowed them to break free from routine and truly appreciate the beauty of the world around them.

The Joys & Challenges of RV Life

While life on the road is full of adventure, it’s not without its challenges. As full-time workers, staying connected while traveling can sometimes be tricky, especially in areas with unreliable WiFi. However, they consider it a blessing to have the flexibility to work remotely while still enjoying the RV lifestyle.

One of the biggest adjustments has been being away from family and friends. Though they miss their loved ones, they make it a priority to visit whenever possible, balancing their love for travel with staying connected to the people who matter most. They even encourage their children to experience RVing, hoping to pass down their love for the road to future generations.

A Journey of Connection & Growth

RVing has not only allowed Talmange and Ashanti to see the world—it has strengthened their relationship in profound ways. Traveling together has deepened their bond, giving them the opportunity to experience life in a way that fosters teamwork, patience, and appreciation for each other.

The RV lifestyle has provided them with a unique sense of freedom, allowing them to live at their own pace, soak in the beauty of nature, and find peace in the simplicity of life on the road. Whether they’re exploring a national park, meeting fellow travelers, or simply sitting outside their RV watching the sunset, they cherish every moment.

Living Life to the Fullest

Talmange and Ashanti firmly believe in embracing life now rather than waiting for the "perfect" time. Every trip, every experience, and every new place they visit adds to a lifetime of memories they look forward to sharing with their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Their advice to anyone considering the RV lifestyle? Don’t wait. Take the trip, embrace the adventure, and create the memories—because life is meant to be lived.

For them, RVing is more than just a way to travel—it’s a way to celebrate life, love, and the endless possibilities that come with choosing the open road.
