WINDOW TO THE WORLD LOCATION:
This picture was taken at Kelvedon Beach on the east coast of Tasmania.
WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT IN THE AREA?
I was lucky enough to be traveling with Chef Sarah Glover she made an amazing lunch in the RV overlooking Kelvedon Beach (where my photo was taken). We had actually just pulled up here after having a fresh berry ice cream at Kate’s Berry Farm. Some of our favorite places to visit along the east coast include The Gulch in Bicheno for the most delicious and fresh fish and chips ever; Geographe at Coles Bay for killer woodfired pizzas; Hazards Brewing Coffee Co. for locally roasted beans; and Melshell Oyster Shack.
WHY DO YOU LIKE IT HERE?
It was a little slice of tropical paradise that we had all to ourselves.
WHO'S YOUR FAVORITE TRAVEL BUDDY?
My fiancé, Dave. He’s been my travel buddy for the past 13 years. We have the best time together.
WHAT NOTEWORTHY PLACES ARE NEARBY?
We had just driven to this destination from the ever so beautiful Freycinet National Park which is an absolute must if you visit Tasmania. Wineglass Bay has actually been voted as one of the world’s top 10 beaches and now I know why. It is stunning! There are also some beautiful walking trails with magnificent views.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE PART ABOUT THIS VIEW?
I love how summery and tropical it feels. The water was ridiculously clear and warm. Absolute paradise.
HOW DO YOU DECIDE WHERE TO GO NEXT?
When I plan my travels for non-work related adventures, it’s usually based around surfing. There must always be waves to be had at some point on the trip. Waves and good coffee ;)
WHICH VIEWS ARE ON YOUR BUCKET LIST?
I’d love to see the dramatic landscape of Iceland and surf the Baja coast of California.
WHAT'S ONE PIECE OF ADVICE YOU HAVE FOR RVERS?
Keep it simple, pack light and always have the fridge stocked up with yummy food. That’s the best thing about traveling in an RV, you can pull over to eat anywhere with the most amazing views.
WHO DO YOU WISH YOU COULD SHARE THIS VIEW WITH?
I’d love to go back with my fiancé and one year old son Jax.
