Ever Changing Backyard

One of the glorious things about full time RV life, is an ever-changing backyard! For someone like me who has that “travel bug” it is a real win! I have also successfully passed my love of travel to our children and consider that a huge win!

A tiny home on wheels is s a wonderful way to chase the weather you want. Feeling blue that winter is coming, head south to warmer weather and sunny beaches. In the heat of the summer when you are ready to escape those hotter temperatures, make a trip to those beautiful northern states with lakes to swim in all summer long. 

Chasing the seasons is a great advantage of RV’ing but there is another advantage of an ever-changing back yard that has me hooked! 

With the ability to move our tiny home on wheels, we also can visit areas on “off season” times. If you have ever ventured into a National Park or an Amusement park during peak times you know the simple joy of being able to visit when the crowds are a bit less. 

This one simple move has a domino effect as well, off peak timing not only means less people it also means discounted rates! This can come in handy for those primo locations. We have also found that exploring areas during those off-season times can be fun and exciting. Embracing snow on a typical rocky hike can seem like a true adventure!

Embracing your ability to move locations is life-changing for all the reasons above but beyond everything it is a learning experience for us. As a family who wants to stay connected in this ever changing world we cherish this season in our life, the season to have more time together, and exploring more!
