MIDDLEBURY, IN. – The past several years have produced many changes to the Eagle Fifth Wheel and Travel Trailer lines and 2013 is no exception. The Eagle line serves an entry point into luxury camping in both the travel trailer and fifth wheel product and provides more comfort and standard amenities than most other competitive products in the same price segment. Despite some changes in product names, the Eagle line continues to offer a wide range of products for eager RVers.
For 2013, Eagle Superlite is now known as simply Eagle. In both the fifth wheel and travel trailer models, a new chocolate glazed front end cap and graphics package have been added as well as the Magnum™ truss roof system. The Glacier Package is now standard in both models and aluminum rims and electric stabilizer jacks are now standard in the Eagle fifth wheel. Further exterior standards in the fifth wheel model include G20 dark-tinted, safety-glass windows, oversized fresh water system and holding tanks, electric rear stabilizer jacks, and a fully prepped bike rack/cargo tray. For the travel trailer, the 2013 Jayco Eagle boasts a Big Easy® entry step with 10-inch step tread and safety light, a large patio area, and dual battery capacity.
The interior of both the travel trailer and fifth wheel continues to impress, offering changes such as new window treatment styling, Diamond Flor® vinyl flooring, an updated kitchen backsplash design, and an added shoe storage area under the entertainment center. Exclusive to the fifth wheel is an added ceiling fan light and added day and night shades. In the kitchen, the 2013 Eagle travel trailer and fifth wheel boasts raised-panel screwed-style Concord Cherry cabinetry, steel ball bearing drawer glides, and an 8 cu. ft. refrigerator. Additionally, the interior is built with arched 84-inch ceilings and decorative transitions. Options in the Eagle line consist of a second air conditioning unit in the bedroom, bumper-mount grill, electric fireplace, a keyless entry, and recliner rockers in place of swivel rockers.
