The 2013 Jayco camping trailer lineup includes the Jay Series, Jay Series Sport, and the Baja. Ranging from just over 14 feet to about 22 feet and sleeping up to eight people, the Jayco camping trailers fit any size family. Enhancements for the 2013 year for all models include new decorative wall boards and an added large folding exterior grab handle at the entry door. Standard in all models is the DuraTek water-repellent sectionalized tent with 1,050-lb. rated beds, mildew-resistant aluminum ceiling, and a scratch-resistant, embossed aluminum exterior finish.
The entry-level Jay Series Sport was introduced in the fall of 2010 as an affordable option for families just getting into camping and has been successful in the camping trailer market ever since. Likewise, the Jay Series camping trailer is Jayco’s classic, time-tested camping trailer which offers many of the same features as well as several upgrades from the entry-level Jay Series Sport. For both models, interior standards include Concord Cherry cabinetry, a booth dinette with carry-out table, tinted vinyl windows with fine-mesh screening, and an auxiliary 12V jack and privacy curtains for bunk ends.
Additionally, the 2013 camping trailers offer crank-down rear stabilizer jacks with sand pads and E-Z Lube axles. Options include air conditioning prep and a 16,000 BTU furnace with auto ignition. Interior standards specific to the Jay Series include a 6-gallon water heater, 17- gallon fresh water system with 12V demand pump, and porta-potti storage cabinets. For the exterior, the Jay Series boasts a self-storing awning made by Jayco, and bunk-end fan lights.
For those who enjoy the rugged, off-road aspect of RVing, the 2013 Baja camping trailer is built to please. The Baja features amenities such as 15-inch off-road Dunlop Mud Rover radial tires, electric brakes, a prepped bike carrier, and a utility deck rated for 1,500-lbs which includes a ramp/deck railing with quick-connect deck attachment system. The Baja also includes a 30- amp power cord, 12V electrical system with 110V converter, crank-down stabilizer jacks with sand pads, and a leveling tongue jack. On the interior, the 2013 Baja boasts Concord Cherry cabinetry with raised-panel doors, real-wood drawers with ball bearing drawer guides with 75-lb. capacity and full-drawer extension, as well as a 2-cu. ft., 3-way gas/electric refrigerator. As an added bonus, the Baja also includes solar prep, polished aluminum rims, and a self-storing awning made by Jayco.
