Ranging from just over 11 feet to nearly 27 feet, Jayco camping trailers offer plenty of storage and sleeping space for families large and small. Thanks to the various standards and option choices, families may pick the camping trailer that best fits their needs. Popular features on most Jayco camping trailers include a Torflex™ independent torsion axle suspension, E-Z Lube axles and the Jayco lifter system.
The entry-level Jay Series Sport was introduced in the fall of 2010 as an affordable option for families just starting camping. The Jay Series is Jayco’s classic, time-tested camping trailer. Boasting a new exterior graphics package for an updated look, the 2012 Jay Series has a range of family-friendly floorplans that sleep up to eight people and provide plenty of storage space. The beds feature sectionalized DuraTek™ water-repellent material, and there is a unique Velcro® attachment system around the entrance door.
Standard equipment in the 2012 Jay Series includes ball bearing drawer guides with full-drawer extension; Concord Cherry cabinetry, SoftShade window shades with valances and tinted vinyl windows with fine-mesh screening. Other standard equipment include a carry-out dinette table, stainless steel carry-out stove, J-Steel™ sofa in select models, corrosion-resistant frame and TorFlex independent torsion axle suspension.
Jayco’s premier camping trailer, the Jay Series Select, also has a new exterior graphics package for 2012. Designed for the ultimate on-the-road comfort and convenience at an affordable price, the Jay Series Select is equipped with a 3-burner stove/oven, acrylic sink, double 20-lb. propane bottles and tall Lamilux® fiberglass sidewalls; the Jay Series Select is packed with more interior features than the other camping trailers in its price range. Standard equipment includes a 16,000-BTU furnace, Concord Cherry Cabinetry and permanently attached bed support poles. The Customer Value Package includes a self-storing awning, water purification system, polished aluminum wheels and Multi-Media Sound System™ with outside speakers.
The rugged, off-road Baja is built to haul gear and toys for adventurous RVers who enjoy taking the road less traveled. The 2012 Baja features the Bike Port™ deck that boasts a 1,500-pound cargo carrying capacity and can hold up to six bicycles, three dirt bikes or an ATV. Upgrades for the 2012 model include a 2-cu. ft. 3-way gas/electric refrigerator, non-sliding dinette cushions with EZ-Clean vinyl backs, 6-gallon water heater, corrosion resistant frame, and E-Z lube axles.
