The Eagle HT is towable by most half-ton pick-up trucks and features many of the same amenities seen in larger Eagle fifth wheels. Standard features include a unique, slate grey exterior TuffShell vacuum-bonded laminated sidewalls, slideout walls, and rear wall as well as an oversized entry step with safety light, extendable grab handle at main entry, and stabilizer jacks. To add to the luxurious feel, the Eagle Half-Ton is packed with Victorian-style Concord Cherry cabinetry, a 6 cu. ft. refrigerator, pleated night shades, and a 26-inch HDTV with cable/satellite prep. Enhancements to the 2013 Eagle Half-Ton include a pull out ottoman built into the J-Steel sofa, upgraded carpet and window treatments, and an optional bumper-mount grill.
To make the Eagle HT even more comfortable and convenient, a free-standing table and chairs set, recliner rockers in place of swivel rockers, and rear electric stabilizer jacks are available. Yet, the standards continue to provide all the essential aspects RVers need, such as a new standard Glacier Package, G20 dark-tinted safety glass windows, and aluminum rims.
The Eagle Half-Tons are built with the same Amish craftsmanship and attention to detail that has made Jayco synonymous with superior construction and quality. Standard construction features include a double-layer of front cap fiberglass insulation, bedroom floor Flexfoil and fiberglass insulation, the new Magnum Roof system featuring four and a half inch crowned wood trusses and 3/8 inch roof decking, screwed down at every seam.
