MIDDLEBURY, IN – Grand Rapids-based Statistical Surveys, Inc., posted 2015 year-end retail sales and market share results, which indicate Jayco’s towable division outpaced the industry in sales growth with an increase of over 22.14% and a growth in market share of 3.56%, while Jayco’s motorized division saw an overall increase in sales of over 40% and an increase in market share of 22%.
Jayco’s fifth wheel sales growth was the most impressive for the towable division. While the industry only grew at 9.75%, Jayco’s fifth wheel sales increased 26.78% year over year, and grew market share by 15.52%. Seismic, Jayco’s toy hauler fifth wheel achieved a 96.43% growth and an increase in market share of 78.98%. The Eagle brand of fifth wheels grew by over 8%, while Jayco’s Pinnacle, part of the Luxury Fifth Wheel line, also made great strides with over 56.71% sales growth and an increase in market share of 42.8%.

Jayco’s travel trailers grew by 21%, with the Octane toy hauler leading the way with over 123% increase in sales and a jump of 84.87% in market share. Jay Flight, the number one selling travel trailer since 2005, increased sales by over 26%, while the Jay Feather saw a 14.27% increase in sales and the White Hawk increased by over 8%.
Jayco’s camping trailers also saw a significant increase this year with a 13.33% growth in sales and a 11.52% increase in market share.
Jayco’s motorhome group saw big growth numbers as well. Jayco’s Class C models grew by 30%, capturing 7.92% more market share year over year. The Redhawk sales growth was at 51.82% and a market share increase of 26.02% while the Greyhawk increased sales by over 37% and market share by 15%. The Seneca, Jayco’s Super Class C, saw an increase in year over year sales of 12%.
Jayco’s Class A gas models increased significantly with over 105% growth in sales and an 83% increase in market share. The Precept garnered a 86.14% increase in sales with a 65.61% increase in market share.
