On Nov. 10, 2007, Jayco®, maker of America’s Most Liveable RVs™, will celebrate the 10th anniversary of its highly successful website, Jayco.com.
With over 2 million visitors per year, Jayco.com is a user-friendly website that allows visitors to access valuable information on Jayco, its products and the RV lifestyle. A new-and-improved version of Jayco.com debuted in August 2006 with savvy features that included an RV glossary, buyer’s guide, MSRP listings, eNewsletter signup and product archive. Since then, Jayco has introduced two targeted microsites that focus specifically on its toy hauler and motorhome markets– JaycoZX.com and JaycoZoom.com.
Recently, Jayco.com unveiled several website upgrades, including Spanish and French versions of Jayco.com, microsites and digitools, an online library of downloadable images available in low- and high-resolution versions. In the future, plans are in place to launch flash construction cutouts, upgraded microsites and Digitools, an online
“The Internet has significantly changed how the RV business functions – and we think it’s for the better,” said Sid Johnson, director of marketing at Jayco. “Today’s RV consumers are so much more informed and knowledgeable about what they want in an RV. They are vocal about desired features and additions – and Jayco responds to those opinions by developing more liveable RVs.”
Jayco’s diligence in providing valuable online resources doesn’t stop with its customers. In 2003, the company started a website exclusively for Jayco dealers that allow them to easily find information and download resources that aid in selling Jayco products. Jayco dealers also have access to a sales leads manager and Promotion Builder, a program that allows them to order customizable collateral, P.O.P. and other marketing items for their individual dealerships.
Jayco is currently developing a program that will allow dealers to perform a variety of time-saving actions online on a virtual 24 hour per day, seven day per week basis, including ordering, warranty registration, claims submissions and checking order status.
In addition, Jayco recently launched a new Internet Dealer Certification program that will help provide better support and service to today’s internet-savvy RV customers. Under the Internet Dealer Certification program, Jayco dealers will receive microsites linked to the www.Jayco.com website. The microsites offer visitors throughout North America a consistent shopping experience from their computers to dealer showrooms.
