Aptly named, the Jay Feather Micro is the lightest travel trailer from Jayco and can be towed by most mid-sized tow vehicles. It’s the ideal next step for those who want to move their sleeping bag from the ground in a tent to a bed in their very own RV. The JayPort system with 17-inch griddle for exterior cooking means you don’t have to give up all the aspects of tent camping you enjoy, like cooking outdoors. Our off-road tires allow you to explore new places and have new adventures. The Jay Feather Micro has everything you need to elevate your camping experience to a new level.

Rock Solid Stabilizer System

This new stabilizing system creates a solid, stable camping experience without having to re-adjust stabilizers. This system can be easily operated with a non-impact power drill. The strong, triangular stabilization design provides efficient RV stabilizations and easily adjusts for optimal stability. Other features on the Rock Solid Stabilizer System include a 2,000 lb. total weight capacity and 3x faster manual (crank) operation than an average stabilizer.

Jayco uses plywood vs. OSB or other materials because it is more eco-friendly (no formaldehyde), handles moisture better, is lighter in weight and has better screw retention

Jayco's exclusive Stronghold VBL™ (vacuum-bond lamination) wall construction process uses vacuum bonding to combine laminated fiberglass with welded aluminum framing, metal backers, decorative interior wall panels and fiberglass exterior siding. This super-durable structure was designed specifically for heavy use and travel while  still reducing weight.

Jayco's standard Goodyear® tires are built using rugged fabric-steel and are reinforced specifically for trailering. Enhanced durability, geater carrying capacities and higher speed ratings help you stay safe, preventing dangerous blow outs all while remaining compatible with tire pressure monitoring systems and typical tire inflation stations.

The Magnum Truss™ Roof system is one of the strongest roofs in the industry. It's capable of withstanding 50 percent more weight- up to 4,500 lbs.- than the competition so that you can safely perform maintenance and avoid costly structure damage from debris, branches or snow.

Azdel composite material is vacuum-bond laminated to the interior and exterior side walls, rear walls and all slide room walls. 

Your RV needs a strong foundation built specifically for your floorplan. We build each trailer on a frame that has been specifically designed by our skilled team of engineers for its size and shape to better endure the wear and tear of the road. Our frames also include more outriggers and cross members for better support and structural integrity. 

 

An integrated A-frame runs through the main frame, preventing the hitch from buckling like competing tack-welded frames can.
