Fun fact: our windshields are manufactured in Turkey, home of the world's finest sand, to eliminate any distortion in the curved portions of the glass. Every other manufacturer in the motorhome industry tiles their entire floor prior to installing their cabinets and interior walls. This results in driving screws down through the tile, which causes squeaks and creaks over time. In the Embark, we take a residential approach by installing cabinetry and interior walls directly onto the wood subfloor. We then hand-tile around cabinetry. This takes more time on the production line, but we take that extra time to ensure Embark owners have the quietest drive possible.
