The Jayco Melbourne Class C Motorhome is a great choice for those who want a smaller coach, with a diesel engine, and all the convenient necessities for camping trips. Slightly more basic than the Melbourne Prestige, but no less equipped, the Melbourne is still built on a Mercedes-Benz® chassis. And there’s always the option to upgrade the Sprinter chassis with a V4 Twin Turbo 211HP diesel engine on an optional premium chassis. Navigating and cruising is fun in the Melbourne with an integrated Mercedes-Benz® MBUX infotainment center with GPS, Apple® CarPlay™ and Android Auto™. Don’t underestimate the power of the diesel engine and chassis. It’s ready to tow what you want to bring along, while still including safety features like cruise control, crosswind assist, hill start assist, attention assist, Brake Assist Plus, breakdown management, emergency call system and driver and passenger airbags. The MBUX display easily connects to your phone for navigation with a large, bright display, that is easy to read and navigate, while keeping your eyes on the road. The backup and side-view cameras make navigating and backing into spaces much easier and allow you to view the sides and rear of your coach when turning, changing lanes and reversing. You can tell your partner they don’t need to guide you into the camping spot anymore. On the exterior, the Mercedes Sprinter comes standard with graphics, but can be upgraded to a partial paint package. Frameless windows provide a clean, automotive look and protect the window seals for longevity. Inside, the JBL® audio system delivers incredible sound quality, whether you're listening to music or watching a movie. Need more seating? The Jayco-exclusive, easy-operation legless dinette table with safety belts and car seat tethers, moves easily from the dinette to bed position and does not sag under pressure. If we haven't convinced you yet, this coach has a six-gallon gas/electric water heater and water heater bypass that provides consistent, hot water every time and replenishes three times per hour. Cold-weather camping isn’t a problem, either. The 30,000 BTU auto-ignition ducted furnace allows for even heating throughout the coach, and the robust furnace size ensures you can keep the coach as warm as you’d like in cold weather. Make your diesel dreams come true with the Melbourne Class C.
